Video Editing


The Casablanca is a non-linear video editing appliance. Non-linear means that the video footage and audio material are stored digitally on the device's hard drive and can then be edited in any order. Storing your footage on a hard drive opens up many options and advantages:


Once you have trimmed the individual scenes with frame-by-frame accuracy and arranged them in the storyboard (all carried out in real time of course) you can insert transition effects between the storyboard scenes. These can range from simple fades to complex three-dimensional effects.
